What other topics do members feel that we need to discuss?

As both a member and a Trusted Cyrvant I hope that the members decide to elect someone who can chair this meeting and decide on what topics are to be discussed so that this is not left up to the Trusted Cyrvants.

I also think that we should reserve the term 'Trusted Cyrvants' for Barry, Tim V. and myself as well as any member in the future who assists in the unique 'technical' aspects of Staying Cyber.

1. More importantly, I think we need to decide how we will select topics. I suggest that topics for the business meeting be gleened from the coffee pot, by the secretary, or suggested directly in the coffee pot. Better yet, we could have a permenent spot for "new business" in the on going business meeting. Suggestions in this "box could be organized by the secretary and presented as topics in the next business meeting.

The responsible person should organize a format with the "trusted cyrvants" that works simply and keeps the maintenance to a minimum.

2. I haven't discussed this "trusted cyrvants" title with anyone outside the meeting or in other meetings, but my initial reaction is that I'm better off being like others in AA rather than different or special. I think Tim G. is trying to avoid confusion about who is doing what e.g. technical vs. organizational. I'm not sure about this one.

I have to smile though, because it reminds me of something Art D. use to say about "gilding the turd". I mean, here I am, a lying, cheating, two faced, thieving, lazy drunken irresponsible slut. I wonder if people get that picture when I tell them I'm a trusted cyrvant? Naw, I'm Tim I'm an alcoholic, even that sounds too good for me.

Blessings

For the present, I think the current topics are enough and that the future topics will come in due course. Have a good day unless you have other plans.
