I hear what Paul D. is saying. The reason we needed GSO was to be the "face" of an anonymous fellowship & represent negotiations for AAs to hold meetings in the USSR & other closed societies. Publishing is self-supporting. I'm not against GSO, but it's not our higher power, and owning property counter-productive to the message. That's why you won't see AA aid stations & treatment centers. Boy, there have been some debates about that one! Think of the $$ that could have been made. The internet provides our anonymous "face" and I'm not sure we need an official spokesperson for the media. I think GSO could and possibly should go the way of the styrofoam cup. Oh, wait... we're still consuming those by the tons.
