They have Isla Scheduled or surgery Friday @ 8AM. I am glad it is near and I am also afraid for my Bride but it is all really in God's hands. Keep the prayers comming. Isla's youngest son Doug (My Stepson) will be here later tonight. He is buisness like and I'm looking forward to his arrival. I'll sure be glad to have this behind us so we can have our life back.

I thank all of you for your prayers. Love to all my cyber friends bj

((Bill)) relief is in sight.. I hope the recovery and rehab for the ankle goes smoothly.

The burlwood chest is all together again, marble top and all. It found it's home under the window on the landing :) The front and top look great! The sides are less than pretty.. the veneer is chiped and peeling in places. But, I count that as character.. and luckily it's tough to see the sides. I think I will line the drawers with some felt that I have left over from another project. I found an old lamp made from a duck decoy that i bought a while back. Think that may be appropriate. I wonder what is next on the agenda??

Work in the morning.. time for pillows!!

Night ((Kids))

Bill, continued prayers for Isla, and you're right, it's in God's hands.

Bit belated Happy 29 Moe!

and

Great going on 14 Glen and thanks for your service. That's how it's done!

Ardis, I just realized you asked a question back there. In my (limited) experience, the garage one is a bit exaggerated. Go with the stranger and the bookends, or better yet a bench vise.

Steve, thanks for the storm updates, glad you got through it OK.

Just finished my Friday, 2 days off now. NO SICK PLEASE.

Listening to the BBC waiting for Coast to Coast. G'night

Coincidence talking of Cowboy coffee - I had to make some this morning. I'd been into CM to watch the rehearsals for 'Driving Miss Daisy' - the Gate Theater's next play; so I stayed overnight. Came back early this morning in heavy rain, so took it steady on the bike. I see the local river, Mae Khod, is in flood again. Anyway, got home and electricity had been off all morning, due to the inclement weather. Desperately in need of a caffeine kick, no electric, so, a pan of water on the gas cooker. Handful of coffee grounds, bring to the boil, and lo, a great pan of coffee, just what was needed.

Good to be sober, innitt? Brian.

Morning Glories!!

LOL.. ((Tim)) glad you found that interesting. I guess it is just a description of Living Sober for me *-) I thank my lucky stars for it every day!

Funny I didn't sleep very long last night... 4 hours or so. It amazes me that sober, I can be just fine. Drunken sleep even 10 wasn't enough.

Time to get back to the #1 job after my stay-cation. I am delighted! I need the rest.

Have a grand day ((Everyone))!

Good morning Y'all: Glen,Moe and Beto Happy birthday. I hope that I didn't miss anyone.

Hearing everyone talk about camping made me feel like packing up and heading out to the grate outdoors. Than I remembered my last adventure sleeping out in a tent.
I was only 4-5 years sober and dateing this Doctor. We went to the Indy 500 and camped out on someones lawn. The problem was that we were sharing this lawn with a bunch of loud drunks.
I found it hard to keep my mind on having sex when part of my mind was wondering which one of those drunks was going to step on us or trip over the tent we were in.
The end result was a sore back in the morning, bug bites all over my body and a disapointed girl friend.
